Continence Week 2026

This year’s focus is primarily on overactive bladder.

The association Incoforum z.s. is organizing its 13th Continence Week. Why is this necessary? In the Czech Republic, involuntary urine leakage (incontinence) affects approximately 10% of the population, regardless of gender. For most of those affected, it remains a major taboo.

A lecture was held at the Chamber of Deputies, where a commitment to cooperation on this issue was secured.

A significant partnership has also been established with the patient organization INKO-GNITO; together with Incoforum, they are launching an awareness campaign dedicated to overactive bladder—the second most common type of incontinence, yet the one discussed the least.
